Many of the dogs we have looking for homes have come to us from people who have lost jobs or moved home to somewhere where they are not allowed to have a dog.
Sometimes it may be as the result of a marital breakup or the death of an elderly owner. All of these dogs are just the victims of circumstance and are all desperate to find new homes.
Some of the dogs we have come to us via council dog wardens and, if they are unclaimed after seven days, are offered for adoption.
People who contact us wanting to rehome a dog often ask for puppies or little pure bred dogs. Although we do occasionally have these, generally they are more mature or larger dogs.
Please come with an open mind as many of the more unusual looking dogs make the best pets.
